Probably a D/N (forget touch rangers ).
But I'm not completely sure, yet. Paragons look real stunning in their Romanesque armor...

I'll create a Paragon/XX for the Starter area (to get the story)
then I'll switch over to my Ranger to finish the campaign

Either a D/P for skills, or a D/Mo for green farming.

I'll make a paragon/something. Not sure about the secondary. I have a feeling that P/W will be abused for good reason, for shouts and an IAS, so maybe that

If you can merge accounts again for another two slots then that's perfect for all I need. I'm DEFINITELY makin a Dervish/Warrior, and the last slot is goin to be a Prophecies pre searing character only, because Paragons don't appeal to me at all, and pre searing owns and I miss it .

PARAGON/WARRIOR!!!! I really enjoyed playing that combo during the preview event. So I can't wait for Nightfall to come out and start him up.
<---- excited

I won't make one. I'll instead pretend that Nightfall just adds new PvE content for my existing characters that I worked so hard on, and try to ignore the fact that they added new classes. And I will hope that for chapter 4, they will stop adding new classes.

i recently just bought 2 extra slots giving me 8 slots total, which gave me every profession except for necro since i have one pvp slot. so my next character in Nightfall will be a necro. As for the new characters, i seemed to have loved the paragon in the pvp preview.

I understand not wanting to make one of the new profs, I didn't make a Ritualist or Assassin, but I do plan on trying out a Dervish and Paragon. They appeal to me more.
Just because you don't want to play any new Profs, doesn't mean everyone else doesn't want to.
And as for the too many classes "dilemma" that seems to be plaguing many, here's a solution:
Cycle your classes. Take your Warrior and Monk through Cantha, and your Ele and Mesmer through Elona, and your Ranger and Necromancer through Chapter 4 (for example).
If it's really that horrible a problem for you...

definatly a D/W. this can dish out the most damage as i have noticed in the beta pvp thing. not gana tell u y but it revolves around skills in the tactics region..duh.. (i was able to take out the 100 armor dummy within 3 seconds)

Definately just going to be a new continent for me to explore with my Assasin. Regardless of whether I get new armour/weapons or not.
I'm going to love joining parties and have people going, umm WTF is A/Mo. Still happens in Tyria o.O

i think i'll enjoy playing a warrior/devrish combo with ulivious running a scythe for a while, just for the hell of it but in all honesty, probably paragon/ranger would make for a pretty fun beast master

Dervish.
I'll wait for some insane Paragon build to show me that they are worth trying. (And I don't want to look like an angel...)

Dervish/Monk
I wanna make a male dervish but i need to see if they look good and dance cool.
I dont think there will be dervish hate as with assassins right now, even if they got nerfed. They have the very same armor of an assassin but they have better defenses, AoE spells and the scythe is a perpetual Cyclone axe. All this features are very appealing.
I used to play a D/Mo the Nightfall weekend but i never used the Dervishway so i do not depend on CoP for playing. I play secondary monk almost always for PvE because i can res, and also it seduces me the combo enchants + mysticism.
